

She was born in Melon Georgia on September 9, 1933, the second of 9 children, and oldest daughter of Edmond and Elsie Foreman. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Lela, and Gwendolyn, and her brothers Willie, Abi, Mack, and Lindsey. She is survived by her sister, Anna Mae Scott, and brother Cleveland Foremen. She married Garfield Brown in 1954, who passed October 2018 and they had three children, Linda G Trimble (deceased), Randy G Brown, Larry A Brown, and grandchildren, Willie L Trimble, and Adelaid Trimble Rivera. Annie obtained an Associates degree and spent most of her working career as an Arizona State Job Placement Specialist, where she received many honors and accolades for her outstanding efforts of matching job seekers with compatible employers. She was a longtime member of Mt Calvary Baptist Church and served in numerous support leadership roles. Her penchant for giving, compassion and, vivacious personality, and love of the Lord will be severely missed by all who knew her. She peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 24, 2024.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held April 29, at AVISTA Senior Living. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Catalina Hospice or a charity of your choice.
