Anthony Estevan Mendoza Valenzuela, 19, of Tucson, Arizona, was born in Tucson, Arizona on August 16, 2007, and passed away on September 5, 2026. Anthony will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection, held close for the devotion he showed to those he loved and for the steady kindness that shaped the way he moved through the world. In the hearts of family and friends, his presence remains cherished and beloved, marked by quiet courage and a generous spirit.
Anthony found his greatest comfort in being surrounded by friends and family, and those moments reflected the warmth he so naturally gave. Baby blue—his favorite color—will carry a special meaning for all who knew him, a gentle reminder of the care and light he brought into everyday life.
Anthony was preceded in death by Blanca Romero (great grandma) and Frank Mendoza (great grandpa). He is survived by Izis Mendoza (mother), Daniel Bernal (father), Alleyah (sister), Grisela Romero (grandma), Adam Mendoza Sr (grandpa), Aidan Mendoza (uncle), Adam Mendoza Jr(uncle). and brothers Pops, Noah, and Fabian.
Funeral services will be held at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, US, on September 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 11:59 pm, and on September 18, 2026, from 12:00 am to 2:00 pm.
