Arthur Lewis Braucksick Jr.

Arthur Braucksick Jr. (80) left this world to be with our Lord Jesus on February 28, 2022.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Kathy; daughter, Tracey (Bryan); son, Art III (Kellie); grandchildren, Bryce, Hunter, Abby, Arthur IV and Arie; siblings, Lois (Tom), Ken (Cheryl), Stu (Kathy) (deceased Carroll and Scott) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Art was a loving husband, father and “Papa”, faithful friend and servant in our church. Throughout his life, he enjoyed boating, camping, model trains, singing in the church choir, helping with AWANA, spoiling grandkids and cheering for the UofA basketball and Cincinnati Bengals football teams! He worked as a steel estimator for 50 years for Ryerson, Peck, Smith Pipe & JB Steel companies. Out of all the jobs he worked on though, he’s happiest about the steel cross he designed out in front of Christ Community Church.

He loved life, his family and the Lord and he’ll be greatly missed.

A private graveside service will be held and a Celebration of Life service will follow in June. In lieu of flowers, Art wanted to request donations to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
