Bacil Christopher Warren

Chris was born in Tucson AZ on July 24th 1948. He attended Catalina High School here in Tucson AZ and later graduated from FT. Hunt in Fairfax, VA in 1966. Chris received his BA at the University of Arizona in Music Composition and later received his MA in Education Curriculum from Tennessee Technological University. Chris Enlisted in the US Army in 1969 and retired from the Army February 28 1990 as CW4 he was awarded Legion of Merit, Meritorious service medal x2; he served as bandmaster for 24th infantry division band at FT. Stewart, GA, the 8th US Army Band at Seoul, South Korea, and the 36th US Army band at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. He later went on to teach music at Sunnyside High school, Faith Lutheran, and Wade Carpenter Middle School. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents Bacil A. and Adell (Mudi) Warren; his parents, Bacil Benjamin and Annelle Griffin Warren; his aunt Mary Conn and cousin Paul Conn, all of Tucson; and his aunt Dr. Aileen Griffin of Dallas, Texas. He is survived by wife Gail, sons Bacil Donovan and Edward Griffin Warren, and is also survived by his sister, Dr. Jannelle Warren-Findley and nephew, Benjamin Findley, of Tempe. A Memorial service will be held at 4:30pm on Monday the 14th at East Lawn Palms Mortuary 5801 E. Grant Rd Tucson, AZ 85712.
