Barbara Joan Deyo

Barbara is survived by her children, Michael (Rhonda) Zielinski, Christine (Jon) Metiva, Elizabeth (Dan) Egan; grandchildren Alexandra Metiva, Riley Egan, Kendra (Antwon) Heartfield, Cody (Gina) Pate and five great grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Jeanie) Deyo, Nancy Voyles, Janet Deyo and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard W. Deyo and Olga K. Deyo of Tucson, AZ and her life partner Pete Russo of Tucson, AZ.

Barbara enjoyed a simple life and was passionate about tending to her yard and outdoor plant garden, where she created a sanctuary for reading the daily newspaper and partaking in a challenging crossword. She cared deeply for her family and friends and took great pleasure in being a devoted grandmother. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, and she will be missed deeply by all of them.

A Celebration of Life will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary & Cemetery on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM, with inurnment to follow.
