Barbara Jean Murphy

October 19,1946-May 19, 2014

Barbara Murphy, a long-time resident of Tucson, died Monday, May 19th. She was 67.

She was the second of Edward and Delia Milburg’s six children and was raised in Oak Park, Illinois. She met Daniel Morris in high school who became the father of her three children, Jean, Dan and Wendy.

Barbara was a fun-loving woman who enjoyed old movies and spending time with family. She held various jobs over the years, but the one she enjoyed the most was being a barber/hair stylist. She was creative, determined and had a good sense of humor.

She is survived by:

Mother: Delia Milburg

Siblings: Ed (Jamie) Milburg, Tom (Cathy) Milburg, George Milburg, Edith Hayes and John Milburg

Children: Jean (Joe) Barbea, Daniel (Corrinne) Morris Jr, and Wendy Kreus

Grandchildren: Cheri Barbea, Collin Barbea, Desiree Mendoza, Angela Janis and Michael Kreus Jr.

Great Grandchildren: Annalise, Ambriella, Julian, Jaelynn, Mikaela, Brileigh and Christian (CJ).

As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31st at 5 p.m. at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E Grant Rd Tucson, AZ.
