Barbara Underwood Myles

Two separate Celebration of Life Services will be held at the following dates and locations to include as many loved ones as possible. The first service will be held at InSpirit Center for Spiritual Living, located in Mission Viejo, CA, on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 6pm. All are welcome. The second service will be held at The Lark Venue of Tulsa, OK, Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11am. Please come celebrate Barbara and the love, joy and light she created for others.

Barbara was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Doyle Underwood and Faye Sumner on August 12, 1950. She went to Bixby High School and graduated in 1968. She worked in several fields throughout her life, the family horse business, the race horse industry, hair stylist, and most importantly inspiring and coaching people how to live their best life. She dedicated her life to her family. Her kids and grandkids always came first. Ensuring they always knew how special and loved they were. She loved watching the Angels, Rocky movies, nature, singing and dancing to great music and simply celebrating life to its fullest.

Barbara is preceded in death by her brother, Bill Underwood and her parents, Faye Sumner and Doyle Underwood.

Barbara is survived by her son, Luke Ware Myles III, wife, Vanessa Myles and grandchildren Luke Myles IV and Avery Myles of Wichita, Kansas and her daughter Mandy Myles Wedel, husband, Dallas Wedel and grandchildren, Isabella Buonaugurio, Jonah Buonaugurio and Kendal Wedel of Tucson, Arizona. Sister Peggy Bales, her husband AD Bales and niece Kristy Bailey and her husband Rob, grandnephews Nick and Blake, nephew Aaron Bales and wife Lizzy and grandniece Faith. Sister Jane Courtney and her husband Joe Courtney and grandniece JoLynn Courtney-Johnson and her husband Ron and grandnieces Ryan and RayLynn. Brother Walter Underwood. Also nephews David Underwood, grandnieces Olivia, Riley, Brinley and grandnephew Bentley and nephew Marcus Underwood, grandniece Lorraine. Sister Ruthe Fleming-Arie and grandnieces Faye Lisha, Emma Jane and grandnephews David and Chet.
