Bernice S. Pershing, 90, passed from this life on May 2, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Lt. Col. Ellsworth M. Pershing. She is survived by her children Jerry (Stephanie), Jenny (Fred), & John (Robby); grandchildren Chris (Naomi), John (Diane) and Aaron (Andrea); and great-grandchildren Andrew, Ben, Harrison and Zophia. Bernice enjoyed spending time with her family, hosting dinner parties, traveling, playing bridge and golfing. Services will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary & Cemetery on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Visitation at 9:30 AM, Funeral Service begins at 10:00 with graveside commitment at 10:30.The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the caregivers of the Homestead on 18th St for their exceptional service and kindness during Bernice's stay.
