I still think of her often. I was supposed to plant two trees next to each other so their (Mom and Betty) leaves could talk to each other in the wind. I'll get around to it someday....They were two of my favorite women in the whole world!!

Hope you are chatting away with my mom in heaven. I still miss you and think about you a lot. Alive in my memories. 

Remembering your mom today: I miss having coffee and a danish with her and my mom at the grocery store on Sunday mornings - I can't remember the name of it anymore - the one where Ace Hardware is now at Sunrise/Swan. Such warm, wonderful women they were. My favorite people.  I loved your mom. 

I recently learned of Betty's passing.  I knew Betty from the homeowner association as a neighbor.  She was so helpful to me on numerous occasions and I appreciated her thoughtful concern so much.  I only wish I could have known her longer.  I thought she was a very sharing and remarkable person.
