Betty Jane Kansky

Betty was a homemaker. She moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1958 and to Saddlebrooke in Tucson, Az In 2012.

She was an excellent seamstress sewing everything from tiny Barbie clothes to wedding dresses. She loved word puzzles, books, games, thrift stores, dogs and chocolate, but she loved her family most of all.

She is predeceased by her parents Sanford and Edith Williams, two brothers Eugene and Robert Williams and husbands Robert Goodwin, Joseph Meis and Leo Kansky.

She is survived by her children Deborah Nelson (Bill), David Goodwin (Regina); step children Joe Meis (Laura), Jim Meis (Meri), John Meis, Jennifer Gaona (David); sister Shirley Beatty, brothers James (Kat) and Thomas Williams; grandchildren Kelly Lemons, Connor Goodwin, Terri Mikkelsen (Eric), Kaitlin, Gabriella and Matthew Gaona, Travis and Trevor Meis and great-grandchildren Riley and Keely Mikkelsen.

She lived a long, full, happy life. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

My big sister Betty was 17 years old, when I was born. She was often like a second mother to me. Even though at times I tried her patience, she was always sweet. I will miss you Big Sis, love from your littlest brother.
