Beverly Price, 82, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on October 17, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1944, in Great Bend, Kansas, and grew up in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, surrounded by a small, close-knit community of family and friends. Many of those friendships have lasted a lifetime. Her Cheyenne Wells High School class of 1962, which had just 20 students, still meets monthly.
Beverly started working at a young age, first on the family farm and then in various hospitality businesses owned by her family, including the local motel and adjacent cafe. She went on to build a career in Human Resources, working her way up through a series of professional roles at several companies in Denver, Colorado, and Tucson, Arizona.
A lifelong advocate of education, she began her college studies at the University of Colorado after graduating from high school and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Phoenix in 2002. She went on to earn an MBA from Regis University in 2006, at the age of 62, an accomplishment she was very proud of. She later attended and taught classes at Pima Community College.
Those who knew her described her as very smart and very hard working, and she would go out of her way to help anyone who needed it.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Price, and their children, Maury Price and Jason (Mary) Price. She also leaves her grandchildren, Liam, Kyle, Cadyn, and Elliot Price, as well as many extended family members, neighbors, and friends.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Tucson Woman’s Club, 6245 E Bellevue St, Tucson, AZ 85712. All who knew her are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Pima Animal Care Center (pima.gov/pima-animal-care-center-pacc), where she and Robert adopted their dog, Chase.
She will be deeply missed.
