It is with heavy hearts, we announce that Bill R Mendoza, born on February 20, 1938, passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 87. A native Tucsonan, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Bill worked for the city of Tucson for 34 years. Bill is preceded in death by his mother Emma, his siblings, Emma, Gloria, Lily, Joe, and beloved granddaughter Valerie. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Connie, his brother George (Rachel) and children Bill Jr. and Cathy. His stepchildren, Michael (Cindy), Cynthia (Gilbert), Kenny (Lori) and Gaspar "Gordo". Twelve grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and his beloved great great grandchild Bella. Many nephews and nieces also survived him.
