Age 96, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. Blanca was born January 28, 1925.
Blanca is survived by her son Nicolas M. Hughes (Blanca) and her three grandsons Jesus P. Hughes (Elda), Nicolas M. Hughes Jr. and Daniel E. Hughes.
Blanca was preceded in death by her spouse Alex R. Hughes. Alex and Blanca shared many loving years married.
Blanca was a great wife, a loving mother and an awesome grandmother.
A visitation for Blanca will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Monica Roman Catholic Parish, 212 W Medina Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
