in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Burkburnett, Texas, on December 27, 1924 to Clyde and Geneva Underwood.
On August 13, 1950, she married Vernon Bear.
Bonnie graduated from Hardin-Simmons University and was a teacher in middle and elementary schools for 26 years
in Kansas and Missouri. Bonnie was a member of 22nd Street Baptist Church and Gideons Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother George. Surviving family members include her husband, Vernon; daughter Evelyn (and son-in-law Mark)Lambert; son Alan (and daughter-in-law Jan)Bear; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five nephews and nieces. She was a loving wife and mother and adored all of her family members.
