

Bonnie was born on December 20th,1944 in Globe, Miami. Bonnie graduated from Sunnyside High School and received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona. She later received her Master’s degree in Education Administration from Phoenix University.
Bonnie married the love of her life, Lou, on July 6th, 1963, in Tucson, Arizona.
Bonnie worked for 30 years as an elementary school teacher. Teaching at Benson Elementary School, Whiteside Elementary School, Johnston Elementary and Meyer Middle School in Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
Bonnie was a member of the All-Arizona School Retiree's Association and served on several committees over the years. Bonnie had been a member of the Sierra Vista Community Chorus for many years. She also enjoyed serving as a deacon at Faith Presbyterian Church in Sierra Vista.
Bonnie had a passion for cooking, shopping, cruising, camping, animals and spending time with her friends and family.

Bonnie is Survived in death by: Husband Lou Burleson, Daughter Kelly Tomblin (Dana), Brady Burleson (Val). Grandchildren Ethan Strickland, Taylor Rivera (Matt), Teena Hinkle, Cameron Burleson and Amy Burleson. Sisters: Lindy Sheehey and Libby Mannel
