Bruce Howard Alper, loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in New London, Connecticut on May 12, 1944 and grew up in Miami, Florida where he met his wife of 45 years. Throughout the years he also lived in Oregon, Georgia, California and for the last 12 years, Tucson. He will always be remembered for his generosity, loyalty and unconditional love for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Dianne Alper, daughter Sara (Daniel) Ludwig, son Jeremy Alper, grandchildren Natalie, Benjamin, Anna and Katherine Ludwig, father Leon Alper of Florida and brother Neal Alper of Florida. A 1:30 p.m. memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary with a graveside service to follow.
