With steady dignity and a life marked by duty and perseverance, Bruno carried himself with the quiet strength of someone shaped by both hard work and deep commitment to country and family.
Bruno served in World War II in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He later worked as a machinist at Hughes Aircraft, bringing care and precision to his craft through years of dedicated work.
On November 11, 1949, Bruno married Maria Dolores Riesgo, who preceded him in death. Bruno is survived by his children Rueben M. Loya, Bruno A. Loya, Rosemary Loya, Mercedes Lamb, and Diana Prutsman.
Outside of work, Bruno found purpose and satisfaction in hunting and carpentry—hands-on pursuits that reflected a practical spirit and an enduring appreciation for making and building with care.
