He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ines, and their six children: Francisco (Lorraine), Martin (Georgia), Lupita, Thelma, Edith (Hector), and Lourdes.
Carlos was a loving husband, a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren — Vanessa, Logan, Marisol, Martin Jr., Aiden, Armando, Alejandro, Ayadeck, Kaleb, Eli, Alaan, Emilio — and 12 great-grandchildren.
A true baseball and horseracing fan, Carlos was a fixture at the Rillito Race Track, never missing a weekend. His passion for life and dedication to family will be remembered by all who knew him.
