Carol Anita Soehl

Carol Anita Soehl, age 91, passed on September 23, 2026 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Carol was born in Selma, CA and moved with her parents to Fresno at the age of two where they resided on the family vineyard.  Carol had fond memories of her time at the vineyard and was proud of her families success in selling grapes to Sun-maid Raisins.

On off-seasons she was happy to spend time with her grandfather at his Lakeshore Resort in Huntington Lake, CA., where she often bragged about all the Hollywood visitors, including Clark Gable, who frequented the resort during its heyday.

Carol graduated from Fresno State University in 1957. She taught home economics prior to her start as a instructor in the computer lab at Pima Community College.

Carol was married to her husband, Robert (Bob) Soehl in 1962, and resided in New York until 1971, when the family relocated to Tucson, AZ.

Carol spent her retirement years traveling to visit family and engaging in her favorite hobby, quilting.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, sister, Nancy Scherer (Lou) and Son-In-Law, Todd Hood (Linda), and is survived by her children Bob (Lori) Soehl, Linda, Debbie (Eddie), Mike (Jodi); her grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan, Matthew, Rob (Lauren), Lindsey (Tim), Amanda, Ashlee, Stephanie (Corey), Nick, Jake; her great-grandchildren, Cody, Owen, Bailey, Kairi-Mae, Maverick, and arriving soon, Robert.

A graveside service will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson Az., on October 2, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. The Soehl Family invites friends to join them in fellowship at the Samprese Estates Clubhouse, 7645 E. Turnquist, following the graveside service - 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.
