Carolyn and Bill were married in 1960 and raised their family while living in Mammoth, Oracle, Globe and finally Tucson. Carolyn was a very talented seamstress, an avid reader and loved attending the Tucson Gem and Mineral show. She was also known for her "green thumb", witty sense of humor, and extraordinary wisdom.
Carolyn is survived by her sister Etta, son Howard, daughter Carol, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and other extended family. She was preceded in death by William, her loving husband of 64 years, brother Edward and parents Roger and Martha (Large) Owen.
In her later years, Carolyn courageously battled health issues that prevented her from attending church services which she missed greatly. Her family is comforted knowing that Carolyn is free from the bonds of her earthly body and has joined her beloved Bill with her Lord.
A visitation for Carolyn will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, followed by a committal service from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM.
