Sending my most sincere sympathies. I worked with Chelsey, last year, at Pima Community College. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.  We shared quite a few laughs and I miss her smile and our laughs. Please know you are all in my thoughts, at this very challenging time.

Chelsea and I went to the same high school, some years after graduation I added her on Instagram and we would always laugh at each others memes (she was pretty much the only person liking them lol) She was the kind of person that you could just feel kindness and love radiating from her, I’m so sad that you’re gone Chelsea. Chelsey was such a radiant spirit and I knew once we connected at work that I wanted to be friend with such an outgoing and vibrant soul. We connected through caving, hiking, any opportunity to get outside especially on Mt.Lemon and Tanque Verde Falls. Chelsey taught me so much about life and I always looked forward to reconnecting and picking up our friendship despite the distance. I miss her calls and just meowing back and forth for a few minutes till she’d give that infectious laugh and catch me back up on the gossip at home. She had so much to offer to those that she connected with and was so incredibly compassionate and understanding. I love you so much Chelsey and sending so much love and light to your family🕊️

DVHS Cross Country 2010-2011. My funnest memory is running alongside you, and you making fun of me for joining cross country even though I hated running. You were one of the fastest too with your long gazelle legs, even out of breath you'd crack a joke just to tire me out quicker 😂 Even after getting chased by wild dogs during a meet, your contagious laugh would lighten us up. I hope you are making lots of people laugh wherever you are. Thank you for the memories 🫶🏼❤️

The Luker family and mine were neighbors when Chelsey and I were in elementary school. Being the same age, she and I spent nearly every day together jumping on the trampoline, playing tetherball, making up dances to songs on our NOW CD’s, playing dress up, and just being kids. She was so witty and fun, and she made it easy for me to be myself. Even years after we moved apart, Chelsey made it a point to check in and see how things were. I miss all the times we spent together as kids, and I’m heartbroken for her and her family. I’m forever grateful to have had her in my life, and she’ll always have a special place in my heart. Randy, Mari, and Razi - I’m so sorry for your loss, and I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Chelsey ❤️

I'm so very sad and will miss seeing your adventures. To Chelsey's family,  I know there are no adequate words of comfort. Chelsey was so loved by so many. I'm so very sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine the pain in your hearts. You raised a beautiful daughter who brought much joy into this world. 

I met Chelsey freshman year! We met in science class, it was an instant connection, we bonded over  humor and the ability to be silly.  We spent most of our time laughing, making dumb jokes about each other and dancing funny. She very quickly became a sister to me, we would dream of our life together in the future, we told each other if we didn’t get married by our 30s we’d be each others companions. I went through many difficult times and Chelsey was always there to uplift me. Chelsey would move mountains for me, she did stuff out of character just to protect me. She opened me up to the world of camping and being outdoors something I only really enjoyed with her, she took me to the Grand Canyon for the first time, guided me through the woods of flagstaff and taught me how to start a fire. We spent 15 years together and that doesn’t seem like enough. I so wish I could hear her laugh one last time. 

Chelsey your essence and the imprint you left on this world is magical. I will use all that you taught me. I will make you proud. I will
“Meow” at strangers and tell everyone “I love you.”

I met Chelsey last year in October through work, I was lucky to work close with her for a short while. I was always happy to know that I was gonna be working with Chelsey, between her jokes, humor, meowing and cat socks she honestly made my day. She offered to go climbing one time and I never had time because of work. Now I wish I made time. Miss you Chelsey.❤️

Memory of Chelsey 

During the 2009-2010 School year at Desert View High School, I was lucky enough to have Chelsey in my Spanish class for Spanish speakers.  That year, I was going through a lot in my personal life, a very dificult separation from the mother of my daughter who was only 3 months.  It was extremely difficult for me to go to work.  I was having horrible anxiety attacks.  What I remember the most about Chelsey was not if she was a good student or paid attention in my class.  What I remember about Chelsey is that through my most difficult times, Chelsey was someone in my class that would make me laugh and smile every day.  She was someone that on occasion would make fun of me, but I would end up laughing so much it hurt.  She just had a special way about her.  I don't remember most students, but how could I ever forget, now that I look back on those days, someone who made every day better for me.  She had a different sence of humor that made me forget about my personal problems at the time.  As a teacher, there are always students that you hope don't show up because they ruin your class, but every year, there are a handful of students that you hope do show up to class everyday because the class is better with them there.  Chelsey unknowingly helped me get though a really hard time in my life and will forever be grateful.  The world was a better place with you in it Chelsey!  QEPD

Condolences to the luker family from Edin Kovac. I was a classmate with Chelsea and was shocked to hear about her passing. She only made people laugh and had a contagious personality. It was very sad to hear but i think it is a reminder to always check on the people closest to us to make sure they are doing well. 

My sweet Luker. You were one of the very first friends I made while serving. We met in A-school, served together in Virginia, were roommates, and stayed close through the years. I’m so thankful God blessed me with your friendship. Rest in peace to a beautiful soul.  I love and miss you.

Chelsey was truly an amazing human being. 
Chelsey and I met in high school, during her senior . I remember I thought she was so cool and outgoing I wanted to be her friend so bad.  And then we became friends . She was loud and hilarious. Even though Our friendship was short in high school since she had went into the navy (that didn’t stop us) we still kept in contact. The moment she came back to Tucson we hung out non stop, spent birthdays together (hers Jan 13, mine Jan 31) Christmas, Halloween, &New years. She became friends with my entire family. She had a personal relationship with all of them. She had a nick name for us and that was The Asian Mafia. Her love is unbeatable and I am more than thankful for such a beautiful soul to enter my life. Her laugh was infectious, with a smile so bright. I’ve considered her my best friend for 10years now and she forever will always be. It doesn’t come to a  surprised of how many lives she’s impacted, she spent her time here healing everyone around her, making us laugh, smile&feel.

Chelsey was so close to my sister Victoria and our whole family. She made connections with each of my family members and would hangout with us separately. She took me caving and to Bearzona when I lived in Flagstaff. She may have not known, but during that time that she visited me, I really needed a friend and it meant the world to me that she included me in her little adventures. Chels was unapologetically her and was a pure soul. I pray for everyone impacted and for her family 🩷 I love you Chels
