Christine Irene Garcia

Christine Irene Garcia (“Christie”) passed away on January 1, 2026 at the age of 40. From the very beginning she charted her own path. She was a strong and independent woman who was a devoted mother to her three children – Marcus, Josiah, and Christie Jo. They were the center of her world. Her love for her children was fierce and unwavering. She will be forever be remembered for the way she protected and celebrated them from the day they were born till her last day. Christie was the youngest of her siblings and treasured by countless family members and many friends. Everywhere she was, her lively spirit lit up a room. Those who knew her will remember her for her free spiritedness. Her presence left a lasting impression and her absence will be deeply felt.

She is survived by her 3 children Marcus, Josiah, and Christy Jo; her parents Pete and Alice, her brother Peter (Patty), and her sisters Vanessa (Ricky) and Jennifer (Sam) and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Pete, Virginia, Santiago and Ejinia , her aunts Virgie and Mary, uncle Tony, and cousins Parker, Manny Jr, and Martin.

A celebration of Christie’s life will be held at a future date. The family welcomes prayers during this difficult time .

Though her time here was far too short, Christie’s love, strength, and spirit will live on in her children and all who were blessed to know her. May God grant her eternal rest.
