Chris went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 4:25a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He recently celebrated his 32nd birthday in April. His cause of death was heart failure triggered by a diabetic coma.
On the morning of April 8, 1982 Margaruette and Donald Subaran gave birth to their first and only son, Christopher Donald Subaran, at San Antonio hospital in Upland, California.
All of Chris’ education took place in California. He attended Pebbles Christian School, Central Elementary School, Almeria Middle School, Miller High School, and UTI, (Universal Technical Institute).
For the past 9 years he resided in Tucson, Arizona. His last place of residence was on the property of Carol and George Emerson. He enjoyed working at his most recent place of employment at Chuck’s Auto Repair where he was a mechanic. He became good friends with his boss Chuck and Chuck’s son, Rob.
Chris will be especially remembered for his love of the automobile, (especially ford brand and fast cars). His fascination with “Batman” rubbed off on many people. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. He took interest in the “insignificant” things in life and pointed them out to the rest of us to notice. He was always eager to accompany friends and family on adventures. His easy-going and free spirit will be sorely missed.
Chris is survived by his parents, Donald and Margaruette Subaran of Fontana, California. He is also survived by one sister, Andrea Subaran of Riverside, California, and one nephew, Iyan Subaran, of Riverside, California.
While living in Arizona he maintained close relationships with his Aunt Kay and Uncle Lee Moreno; cousins Jimmy Kozar, Gina Sears, Tony Kozar, Tessa Colegrove, and Seiko Shiroma; second cousins Cami Brown, Ryan Sears, and Glen Sears, Angel Colegrove, Dane Kozar, and Lily Colegrove.
Chris also leaves behind numerous beloved family members.
Chris formed close bonds and friendships with Tyler Pablo, Tyler’s family, and Rob Hotchkiss. He leaves behind his beloved pit bull puppy, Diesel.
Services will be held at 10a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Funeria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave. Tucson AZ 85706. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service and the reception at the home of Carol and George Emerson, (2772 W. Dove Rd.), immediately following.
