Chona will be greatly missed. She was a great mother and nana. She taught us many life lessons, was very family oriented and loved her family. She loved cooking and baking in her younger days, but passed the torch to her husband and kids. Her life was devoted to her family and not to forget Bingo. She was a loving, funny, straight forward person, and "I'm gonna get my chancla, veras" kind of person. Chona will forever be in our hearts, never forgotten and always loved.

I will forever remember my Tia Chona's funny side. I can still hear her and my mom sitting at the table talking being'comadres' and us in and out the house. Hours go by and these two still laughing and talking like their husbands don't need dinner made. Rushing to end their conversations I remember the speedy ride home. My Tia Chona gained my love and respect at hello. Tio Eddie I love you and I'm here if you need me.
Love Gypsy
