Curtis E. Capple, Jr. 96, went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2018. He is preceded in death of his parents Curtis E. Capple, Sr. and Mable Christine (Sweitzer), wife of 49 years Mary Malissa (Merical) Capple, son Thomas Lee Capple, brothers Calvin and Henry as well as sister Betty (Capple) King.
He is survived by his daughter Sally Ann (Edward) Helm, Daughter-in-law Debra (Rice) Capple, Grandson Christopher Thomas Capple, Great-grand daughter Almalssia Jo Capple, along with many nephews and nieces.
Curtis is a WWII Veteran and served in the Army. He retired from Pima Mine and at age 80, he retired from Avra Water Co-op in Picture Rocks. He was a member of Tucson Baptist Church for over 30 years and also served in various capacities.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 11 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary at 11:00 AM.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Tucson Baptist Church Youth Camps.
