

Dale Sheridan went to sleep in the arms of Jesus on July 12, 2014. He was born June 7, 1955 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dale and his family moved to Tucson from Rapid City, South Dakota in 1963. He was a graduate of Palo Verde High School, class of 1974. After high school, Dale worked for Magma Copper Company, San Manuel Division unit 1982. He left Magma and went to work for the University of Arizona in Facilities Management until he retired in 2009. Dale enjoyed restoring old (1938, 1952, 1957) Chevy pick- up trucks. He also liked Harley- Davidson motorcycles, taking summer trips to the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Since childhood, he remained an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Dale is preceded in death by his mother, Bertha and his father, Elmer. He is survived by his sister, Linda. Dale was a brave man, exemplifying forbearance, fortitude and great faith. A fellowship gathering will be held from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 8:30 a.m. at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Road on Sunday, July 27, 2014.
