On Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Daniel Scott Klingler of Tucson, Az., a loving husband and father of three, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 52. He was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides and his daughter Alaina Anne Klingler. Daniel is survived by both his parents, his wife Jenny, his sons Davin and Nate, his brothers Matt and Aaron, and his sister Rebecca, along with his six nephews and his one niece.
Daniel was born May 14, 1969 in Adrian, Michigan to David and Diana Klingler. His family relocated to Tucson when Daniel was young. Daniel graduated from Sahuaro High School in 1987 and attended Pima Community College. On July 2, 1994, he married Jennifer Anne Herron. They were blessed with three children, Alaina, Davin and Nate. Daniel worked his early years in a water utility amongst other job opportunities that gave him knowledge in many fields. In October of 2001, Alaina passed away at the age of seven. This forever changed Daniel and his family as they had to learn how to accept their loss and move forward. Instrumental to this was Daniels unwavering faith in God. Without his faith he would not have had the will to continue forward. He had faith that God was always looking out for us. Over the remaining years his faith never faltered, no matter what other obstacles occurred. Instead, he became even more strong and he raised his boys and his wife in the faith of God. Many long discussions were had that gave hope. Along with his great loss, Daniel also had to deal with Type 1 Diabetes which he was diagnosed with at the age of 20. This made his life that much harder to navigate and in his later years he suffered vision loss in his left eye due to complications from his diabetes. High blood pressure also plagued him. However, despite all of these tests, Daniel was such a positive soul. He always had a smile and a funny story. He was such a positive force. His interests were many and he knew pretty much anything about most everything. His family relied on him when they had questions and many long discussions were held on many a day with his sons about everything one could imagine. Those were some of his favorite moments. The ability to be able to sit and talk with his boys about anything and to be able to impart his knowledge to them and give his opinions made him completely happy. Daniels love for his children was endless and he had such pride in them and was looking forward to seeing what choices they made in their lives. Daniel was the most generous, compassionate, loving, sensitive, witty, humorous, wise, smart and faithful man and his family was blessed to be able to call him Father and Husband and love him more than anything. We miss him forever and always, until we are reunited.
