I was just made aware of Dandy's passing. She was a gentle soul and a wonderful friend for many years. Very sorry and will miss a fun baseball buddy. Spring Training will not be the same without you, Dandy.

I worked with Dandy years ago at TNI. One day I arrived to work and discovered a Rolling Stone magazine with Chris Martin on the cover on my desk. Turns out Dandy had left it there for me simply because she'd remembered how much I loved Coldplay. In her own unique way, she left a lasting impact on those she touched. She had a tender heart, and though she tried to conceal it, she knew the value of relationships. May her family find lasting comfort and peace in the fact that our Heavenly Father knows the value of relationships as well and embraces us with his mercy and love. Dandy was a treasure.

Dandy you will always be in my thoughts. I will always remember of pizza lunches.
