

David served his country in the USAF in the 60's before beginning his work in the Mines. He worked at both Kennecott Copper in Kearny, AZ and Kaiser Steel in Eagle Mountain, CA before joining the Department of Water Resources for the State of California as a Superintendent. He attended and obtained a college degree from Central Arizona College. He was a proud Irishman who told a great story, had a strong work ethic, had a great sense of humor and loved his family and fiancé. He also loved driving, fixing and talking about cars, motorcycles, talking politics and history, Elvis, the stock market and many other things. We often heard from others that we had the coolest dad ever!! Our worlds will never be the same without him. He is survived by 2 sisters: SuEllen Pidone (Michael), Jayne Piet (Russ); Children: Michael Burns, Vivian Grant (Rocky), Roberta Malcolm (David), Bridget Garza (Gary) and Lorraine Ventura; His Grandchildren: Sarah Malcolm Erika Grant Kathryn Hall (Jeff) Sally Ventura Vince Ventura Brennan Garza; great grandchildren: Antonio Sanders Kyle Hall Sophia Sanders Jed Hall; Fiancé Annamaria Estrada and numerous nieces and nephews.
