David Anthony Partenio

David Anthony Partenio, age 79, passed away on May 10, 2026. Born on July 31, 1946, in Flint, Michigan, David lived a life marked by dedication, strength and service to his country. He will be remembered for his compassionate heart, quiet strength, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those who knew and loved him.

David graduated from Grand Blanc High School before enlisting in the United States Army in 1966. He proudly served his country for 20 years, including during the Vietnam War. Throughout his distinguished military career, he was stationed across several states and throughout Europe, earning numerous medals and ribbons in recognition of his dedication and service before retiring with the rank of First Sergeant.

On July 26, 1997, David married the love of his life, Nancy Partenio. Together they built a life centered on love, loyalty, and steadfast support for one another, sharing nearly 29 wonderful years of marriage.

He is survived by his children, Michael Massey (Jessica), Jennifer Hoyt (Grant), Valerie Oles (Michael), and Darrell Partenio (Sarah). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Savannah Blight (Lance), Abbie, Aiden, Andrew, Hunter, Cole, and Chase.

David’s legacy of strength and devotion will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. His memory will forever be cherished with love, gratitude, and admiration by his family and friends.
