Dave was a warm, kind, passionate man, with a great sense of humor and wit. His music was his passion. He displayed great strength throughout his life, right to the end.
Dave worked for Valenite for the majority of his career. Upon retiring, he meet Ann. Dave and Ann found the love of their lives in each other. Their love of travel and riding motorcycles tooik them on many adventures to beautiful places.
They settled down in Delton, Michigan on Crooked Lake. This was the perfect spot for family gatherings, which Dave loved. Seeing his children and grandchildren brought him such joy.
Later, Dave and Ann bought a ranch in Patagonia, Arizona. The blue skies, sunshine, and beautiful scenery made this their dream home. Working on the ranch and playing his guitar brought him such pleasure.
Dave wishes he could have stayed, but leaves with God in his heart, and love for all those he leaves behind.
Dave is survived by his loving wife Ann, his three children he was so proud of, Julie, Geoff, and Matt. The children's mother, Judy. His sister and brothers, Kathy, Dan, Steve. He is also survived by his grandchildren, that brought him such joy, JJ, Ben, Marabel, Austin (great-granddaughter Braylynn), and Chloe and Caiden whom he welcomed to the family. Dave also leaves behind Ann's family who loved him, and were glad he became a part of their lives.
As Dave has requested, he will be cremated, and his ashes scattered on the ranch, for the wind to blow him through the hills and canyons that he loved.
Later, in the summer, when the weather is nice and it's safer to get together, we will have a celebration of his life.
Dave will be greatly missed.
