So….. I have tried to write this so many times. I take comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain and are sitting beside Grammy. I can still see your beautiful smile and hear your contagious giggle.  You are my name sake and I am so proud to be named after such an amazing, intelligent, loving and funny uncle.  You will always be apart of me❤️ Love you so very much!!

When I knew Dennis, I was usually healing up from my achilles tear or my hip replacement.   He was rehabbing from his several back procedures and he was always curious about my ailments to try to see if he might have the same symptoms.  I felt sorry for him because he was in such pain, yet he kept at it, walking, in the pool and other exercises.  His life at that time was not fair; his attitude was to work through it and get pain-free and back to his normal life.  He was always friendly and a great neighbor.      FRED

We met Dennis and Karen as next door neighbors.  They were great friends.  We especially miss our breakfast meetings and will miss him greatly.  Great people like Dennis will never be forgotten!

Our deepest sympathy, Karen! Dennis is very missed, he was a great neighbour and good friend. Will miss the conversations while we were fixing stuff and patio talks with Homer and the guys; he always had something good to say. Take care and stay safe.


It was March 2021. Aunt Karen cooked up some food and we all sat around drinking wine catching up about so many things. I asked how my uncle and aunt met. Hearing it firsthand melted my heart and gave me hope. The love between them was so genuine and withstood the test of time. Aunt Karen told me he would always ask her every year if she would be his valentine. 

Uncle Dennis was a role model to so many and a positive influence to everyone around him. His wisdom was always welcomed with curious ears and smiles. Although our families were apart in distance, we always felt their love from afar. 

We love you, uncle Dennis. Rest In Peace ❤️

I met Dennis and Karen when they had their office in the same building as I was working.  We became great friends immediately. Seeing Dennis everyday we became like family.  He was a man you could talk to for advice and he would be honest with his advice.  He and Karen were such caring people and would go out of their way to help, if needed.  We have lost a great man but he will live on in our hearts and memories.  My prayers for Karen and the family. 

Hello To Karen, Family and Friends; I worked with Karen and Dennis and will always remember them as a wonderful couple and team in the work environment. I met them in the fall of 2014 and they became friends and great colleagues immediately as they would for anyone they knew.  Dennis was always there available to help if and when he could. Very special person. My thoughts and prayers for you Karen, he will be missed.    

Dennis was a wonderful man, always kind and caring. He will be greatly missed. Karen, you are in my prayers!

As far back as I can remember uncle Dennis was always smiling. He gave the amzing winks and always made me feel loved. 

We already miss Dennis!  He was a friendly and kind neighbor.  He always had a warm smile for everyone.

Dearest Karen,
     It's so hard losing your best friend and especially one that was your husband.  We are so sorry for your loss.
     Dennis was my 'second' husband for many years and he will never again say "hello dear" when I visit Arizona, but I'll always remember, and imagine I hear it.
     Our friends and loved ones never really leave us.  Like old coats that have molded to our deformities, they are warm and comforting.
     Karen, we hope you soon find peace and then find comfort and warmth in all your wonderful memories.

From as early as I can remember Uncle Dennis has always been a kind and caring man.  He has helped me a lot as I got older learning what and how to invest in stuff and planning for the future. I always enjoyed visiting with him and will forever cherish the time I spent in his presence. He was an overall good person, whom I will miss a lot.

Dennys sister Sharon introduced us to her brother back in the late 60’s he was a class act .He held the best Halloween parties I have ever been too. Denny was the best brother to Sharon ever.❤️





Uncle Denny… I remember you as a soft spoken and quiet man but when you and my mother, your sister, got together you two would laugh and laugh and laugh. You had a soft rumbling chuckle.  You’d talk about your childhood memories as though they happened yesterday. It was so nice to see you two  enjoy each other and reminisce.  You were a kind and generous man.  You and Aunt Karen opened your home to me the summer before  I started my freshman year at Kent State. That is one of my fondest memories of you. Thank you for that….you will be missed by many…Love Kolleen..

How do you say goodbye to someone you have known for over 77yrs, through good times and some bad ,many happy times and sad times.When we were young with our strawberry blound curley hair and freckles we made a great pair people didn’t know if we were both girls.With your silly giggle and Tee Hees .I will deeply miss our once a week phone calls and all our laughs .Now you will be with people that love you Dad,Mom,Jerry so laugh a lot we’ll be together again

I considered myself a friend of this wonderful person. We "the pool gang", would love to see this man grace our presence at the pool. He would get his exercise by walking back in the pool on the 4 foot marker..
