Dorothy Harriett (Voss) Howard was born May 1st 1924 in Council Bluffs, IA to Herman John Voss Sr. and Agnes Juniata Myers. She graduated Abraham Lincoln High School in 1942. Dorothy was an independent working woman during the World War II and Korean War era. She met her future husband in a bowling league. She was wed to Laurel Lloyd Howard on the 30th of Nov. 1957 in Lancaster, CA. After living in New Mexico and Alabama they settled in Tucson, AZ in 1971.
She is survived by her sister Louise Day of Council Bluffs, IA and brother Herman (Sharon) Voss Jr. of Tipton, IA. Daughter Corrine (Ray deceased) Nunez of California City, CA and son F. Jon (Gail) Howard of Tucson, AZ. Eight grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.
She peacefully entered into His Kingdom at 0900 11/3/2013, a few months shy of her 90th birthday.
She was loved and will be missed by all.
