I can still visualize Dorothy driving her Ford Thunderbird with the round portal windows around town. Being invited to their little get away in Mexico was one of the highlights of my childhood. Both Dorothy and Charles have touched my life and made this world a better place. Their wonderful memories will live on forever. My heart and thoughts go out to the family.

i too have 6 years of blessed memories of dorothy, her beautiful smile,her laugh,seeing her daughter carol visiting her mom, she was one of my favorite residents @ the forum, i miss her & carol. i love them both.  love you dorothy & carol. i loved seeing dorothy check her mail @ the forum, we'd visit @ my desk & just talk, carol & dorothy, your always family with me.   tami.

I have so many wonderful memories of spending time with the Whitehead family as I was growing up: seeing Dorothy and her mother's wonderful crafts, sewn  stuffed animals, squaw dresses and other clothing, the fun sleepovers at Clarlyn's when Dorothy made deep fried scones delivered to us girls who slept on cots in the back yard under the stars, having dinner with them when Dorothy made Mexican Hats, Chicken Bola Gai or Mexican cornbread, and the fabulous trips to the cabin at Cholla Bay.
