Earl W. Fernelius, 86, passed away August 30. Earl was a real estate broker and appraiser in Birmingham, Michigan for nearly 50 years before retiring to Tucson in 2001. He loved fly fishing and golfing, as well as daily walks around his neighborhood His daughters are grateful to him for teaching them the importance of hard work and inspiring them to be generous and thoughtful citizens. He will be warmly remembered as a kind and loving father, grandfather, neighbor and friend. He was preceded in death by his wife Dottie and daughter Linda, and is survived by daughter Margi Brooks and granddaughter Emma Brooks-Ward, both of Tucson. No services will be held. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
