Ed was a native of Staten Island, New York, where he attended PS1, then later graduated from Tottenville High School. He continued his education at Ohio University finishing with his bachelors. His motto "Get organized, Get ahead" drove him to complete his masters at Findley University in Environmental Compliance. This accomplishment began his career as a Chemist.
He met his "Baby Birdie" in Kansas City where they married on February 17, 1979. They shared over 43 years of unconditional love. They had 2 children in which their love and adventures grew. Ed's continual growth in his career allowed his family to travel to many cities and locations around the world.
Leading him to bring his loved ones to Tucson in 1998 for his sunny retirement. Ed's hardworking ethic drove him our of retirement where he worked another 20 years throughout the community.
Ed is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bobbi Teegarden Ogilvie; Children: Andria McNeal (Kenneth) and Heather Harris (Gregory); Grandchildren: James Ogilvie, Arianna Cordova, Tyler McNeal, Raylan Harris and Sawyer Harris.
Join us on February 17th, 2023 to not only celebrate the life of our loved one but to commemorate Ed and Bobbi's 44th wedding anniversary. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11am at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 11575 N. Oro Valley, AZ. A Thanksgiving Pie Reception will be after the service. Please bring an empty stomach as different Thanksgiving pies will be shared as we celebrate Ed with his favorite holiday.
The prefered attire is to dress to show respect to Ed. We would love for our guests to incorporate either blue or green in their attire with traditional funeral colors.
