Edward Joseph Vyskocil Sr. age 75 passed peacefully Sunday Evening, August 11,2019 surrounded by family at his beloved home. Born Febuary 10,1944 in Wilmar, California, he was the son of the late Edward John Vyskocil and Bertha Veronica Trela.
Edward served 20 years in the U.S. Military in Vietnam. He met his beautiful bride and wife of 49 years, Patsy Lou Newman in Topeka, KS, while stationed in the Air Force. They were married April 3rd,1965. In 1981, he retired from Davis Monthan Air Force Base (Tucson, AZ.) as a Technical Sergeant. Soon after, he started his lifetime career as a Tour Bus Driver for Citizen Auto Stage in Tucson, which took him all over the states. Ed had an unbelievable love for driving. He even received an award for 2 Million Accident Free Miles. Edward loved life and lived it to the fullest. Edward loved spending time with his family and friends, his yard work, and staying busy "piddling" was very important to him. The highlight of his week was his Friday night dinners with Uncle Roy and Aunt Barb.
Edward was survived by his two sons: Edward Joseph Vyskocil Jr. (Dee Dee) of Topeka, KS. and Paul Larkin Vyskocil (Brandy) of Tucson, AZ. And seven grandchildren who he loved and cherished: Bradley, Brittany, Patrick, Joseph Vyskocil of Tucson, AZ. Heather Kristinat (James), Maxine Vyskocil, Emily Vyskocil of Topeka KS. Sisters: Joyce Griffin, Key West, Fl. Pat Colvin (Arthur) of Connecticut. Brother: Bob Vyskocil (Lenore) of Connecticut. Many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives. Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife Patsy Lou Newman.
Edward was a bright light in the world and made friends no matter where he went, bringing countless smiles to the people who were lucky enough to meet him. Edward will be loved and missed for years to come.
