Eloiza Maldonado Roqueni, 85, of Tucson, AZ entered into rest July 3, 2017. She was born in Esqueda, Sonora Mexico on August 4, 1931 as Eloiza Maldonado Torres. She was a seamstress for the Billy the Kid Shirt Factory and enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and dancing in her free time. Eloiza was preceded in death by her mother, Salome Maldonado, and her father, Domingo Maldonado, and her brothers, Francisco, Domingo, Jesus, and Manuel Maldonado. She is survived by daughters: Gloria (Arturo) Morales, Rosa Corrales, Martha Imelda Maldonado, Maria Luisa (Jose) Santa Cruz, Lourdes Maldonado, Irene (Ernesto) Renteria, Eloiza (David) Galaz; sons: Victor (Norma) German, Jaime Roqueni, Rene (Sandra) Roqueni, Roberto Roqueni, Joe Roqueni, and Raymundo Roqueni; 38 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Eloiza is also survived by her sister, Teresita Lucero Maldonado Lucero, brothers, Jose and Fernando Maldonado, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on 10:00 am, July 10th at East Lawn Palms Mortuary in Tucson, AZ.
