Emily Bergeron Delaune

Emily B. Delaune, age 84, nine year resident of Tucson post Katrina and a native of Arabi and New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, August, 9, 2014 after a battle with multiple cancers. Beloved wife of Charles Delaune, is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Keane (Michael) and Patricia Quick (Edward), and her brother Norman Bergeron, Jr. She was the loving grandmother to Samantha Keane, James and Jascelyn (Jazzy) Quick. Daughter of the late Bernice and Norman Bergeron Sr. On Tuesday, August 12th, at 6 p.m., there will be a celebration mass at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 1946 E. Lee Street, Tucson, Arizona. For family and friends in New Orleans there will be a celebration of her life in New Orleans planning is for early October.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Casa de la Luz Hospice or Saints Peter and Paul Church for the wonderful and exceptional support they have and continue to provide Emily and her family. American Cancer Society so they may continue the search for a cure. A special thank you to the staff of Total Care: Nicole, Damian, Lisa and all others who have passed through our home in the care of Emily and Charles.
