Eric Scott Scheithauer

Eric graduated from University of Illinois and began working as an electrical engineer at ITT Aerospace/L3Harris in Melbourne, Florida and later transferred to Fort Wayne, Indiana where he met his beloved wife. They married in September 1992. Eric was an avid member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, which led him to be part of the Indiana Deaf Camp. He enjoyed scuba diving and spending time with his children and grandchildren. After retiring in April 2018, he and his wife relocated to Tucson, Arizona, where he spent the remaining years of his life.

Eric is survived by his wife, Gail; two daughters, Teresa (Phil) Crosby and Jennifer (Jason) Gerig; four grandchildren, Katherine Gerig, Madeline Gerig, Charles Gerig, and Trevor Blosser. His father Eric A. Scheithauer, brother David (Marie) Scheithauer, sister-in-law Ilse Scheithauer, and nieces Alexandra Scheithauer, Anna Scheithauer, Katherine Scheithauer, and nephew Christopher Scheithauer.

Eric is preceded in death by his mother Marian (Joy) Scheithauer and brother Mark Scheithauer.
