She was born in Ruiz, Nayarit, Mexico on August 28, 1946, and moved to Tucson, Arizona as a young woman. She was married to Alex Evan Rosenblum on November 26, 1971, worked for Villa Campana Retirement Community, now Atria Bell Court Gardens, for 25 years until her retirement, and was a devoted parishioner of Our Mother of Sorrows Church. She is survived by her husband Alex, children Edward (Juliet), John (Lisa), and Adriana (Jeff), and her 7 grandchildren Rod, Levi, Isaac, Evelia, Lincoln, Abigail, and Emerson. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Evelia is now with God.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 8:30 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2017, East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, Arizona 85712.
