Evelyn C Dewar

She graduated from Salpointe High School in 1956. In 1959 "Ev" met and married Jim Dewar, they had a wonderful life together for 50 years until Jim's passing in 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Dewar, her daughter Cindy Matthews, and parents Nick and Mary Carano. She is survived by her son, Scott Dewar, brother Anthony Carano (San Diego), sister Lu (Jim) Reffkin, grandchildren Broc Matthews, Brittney and Ciera Dewar, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as her close friendship with Bill Larmey for six years.

Ev had many jobs throughout her life and enjoyed all of them. They ranged from a receptionist at a law firm to demoing at Costco. Ev always had a smile on her face, loved meeting new friends, and had a very vivacious personality. She never gave up an opportunity to play cards with her friends, whether it was bridge, poker, "31" or going to Desert Diamond.

Ev will be missed by all.
