Hi Mom, as you know we got together yesterday to celebrate your life and honor you with a rosary at your gravesite. It has already been a year since the last time we all saw you, heard your voice and were able to touch you.  While I can tell it's been difficult for us all, we are all staying strong, even Dad.  Jr and Lorenia are making sure that he is eating healthier and staying healthy.  He is also going to mass almost every Sunday and I can tell he feels better.  Tia Lola is still having a hard time as well. 💔 I remember that you told me to make sure they were both taken care of and I believe they are both doing pretty good, I also feel you might have something to do with that🙏  I love you Mom, until the next time, lots of kisses and hugs 🫶

Happy New Year in Heaven, Mom! I had a very good and blessed day yesterday! After visiting your graveside with Marcela and Leti, I also got to see Lorelei's new and first home, so proud of her and Martin.  She has grown into an amazing young woman and when I took that first step into her home after she opened her front door with that smile that so reminds us of you, I knew she would be forever blessed and protected❤️.   I also was able to finally talk with Lynda, the one person who always kept in contact by mail, sending you Christmas cards after you left Maricopa.  She also just recently lost her husband Mike on Dec 9th, this year🙏 We reminisced about our times together as neighbors,  we laughed and cried , but most of all I found great comfort and more appreciation for the legacy you left behind not only for us (the family), but other people whose lives you touched.  Truly blessed!  I love you Mom... Til the next time🫶

Hi Mom, our first Christmas without one of the most important person in our lives has definitely been a trying time for all of us.  I remember when we were little living in Maricopa and going through the streets caroling (las posadas) it was so much fun!  You always made tamales. ( So yummy) I wish our kids would have experienced those things.  I miss you mom, I can't believe we're coming on a year soon that you went to be with our Lord.  Merry Christmas in Heaven! Hi Mom, just had our first Thanksgiving without you here physically, but know that you were here with each of us who miss you everyday!  I just want to give you thanks for being the best mother you could be.  So strong and brave always!  Holidays are definitely different without you😔 Love you😘

Happy Birthday Mom!!! My wish for you is that you are celebrating with your heavenly family, those that you were without while you went through your journey here on earth. Hi Mom, just want you to know that I am missing you so much and remembering that this week marks three years that we were told of your cancer.  I remember it like it was yesterday.  We are all struggling without you mom, but I have faith that we will get through this however long it takes us.  I can still see some of the grandkids having a hard time as well as Dad, I know it's a lot to ask of you, but please watch over us all!!! Our first Mother's day without you today was definitely one of the toughest to get through, but then again everyday since you've been gone has not been easy,  Mom, I miss you so much and I can tell how much everybody else misses you too.  I think about where you are, who's with you, are you really ok, I want to believe everything we are told about seeing you again one day and because of that I hang on to the hope that we will see you again. I always felt a special bond with you, mostly because I was your first grandchild and because I was named after you. March 1st was supposed to be a day of celebration for me. It was my 35th birthday, and for the fist time ever I didn't want anything to do with it. All I could do was cry and pray for you. Now that some time has passed and my emotions have settled, I feel like our bond was strengthened because we will forever share this day together. We love and miss you so much! Rest easy Nana🙏❤️

I am so saddened to hear of your mother's passing. Sending you strength and special prays during this difficult time.

I remember one of the last times at your bedside, you asked for the delicious broccoli soup your daughter in law, Lorenia made for you, you kept saying how good it was. It was 6am, you fell asleep and then asked for more when you woke up two hours later.  That would be your last meal.  I sat next to you on the bed and you were smiling and staring at me, you grabbed my wrist and told me, " mija, I will be ok, don't worry", at that moment I knew she would be leaving us.  I am grateful for those words, I knew you were ready. You will live on always in our hearts, our beautiful mother🙏❤️
