Francisco Rivera Baltazar

Born June 19, 1983, passed away at the home surrounded by family on Saturday, February 10, 2024 after a 13- year battle with cancer. Paros’s unwavering love and commitment to all Yaqui communities did not go unnoticed. His passion for his culture and people was immense. Although he won many cancer battles, he did not win the cancer war.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; Ralph and Susana Baltazar, Brothers; Albert and Angel. He leaves behind daughters; Amber and Leilani “baby shnooks”. Sisters; Rosemary and Lisa, Brothers; Armando, David and Julio along with numerous extended family and friends. Paros will truly be missed. A Yaqui traditional wake is set for Sunday, February 18th at Cristo Rey Church followed by mass Monday the 19th at 7am. Paros will be laid to rest at Monte Calvario Cemetery in New Pascua.
