On Monday, December 14, 2020, Fredric Paul Weitz, beloved husband of Debra (née Berliner); Loving father of Alexander and Serena; and brother of David (Jerri) Weitz, passed away at the age of 69 of a rare blood disorder. Fred was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harry and Betty Weitz. He received his doctorate degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1976. He loved helping everyone he encountered and shared his expert optometry skills for a total of 44 years in Pennsylvania and in Arizona.
Fred was also a gifted linguist who spoke many languages; a stereo photographer who explored many techniques; a triple rated pilot; and a navigator skilled with many instruments.
