Gary was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and a friend of many. Gary loved cooking and was always up for trying out a new place. He could always let you know where you could grab a great bite to eat, not only in Tucson, but also throughout the Country.
As an avid fan of Rock and Roll, Gary enjoyed listening to his tunes and going to concerts whenever he could, especially when Journey came to town. Growing up, Gary played the drums while attending the University of Arizona. Gary was also a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and was finally able to see them win a World Series in 2016.
Gary spent most of his career in the construction industry. He owned his own HVAC company and went on to work at several well-known HVAC companies throughout Arizona. The later part of Gary’s career was spent working for several large general contractors in a variety of capacities. Gary was distinguished in the Arizona Construction Industry, participating in the design and construction of dozens of high profile, recognizable buildings, and structures in the Tucson and Phoenix areas.
Gary is survived by his mother, Patricia Jones, his two brothers, Kevin and Tim Jones, his four children, Jonathan, Stephanie, Christopher and Charles Jones (C.J.), and four grandchildren.
