George E Maley, 92 of Tucson, Arizona, passed away September 16, 2015. Born in McDonald, PA ,1923. Lived in Elyria Ohio for 30 years. George received a Bachelor’s Degree from Carnegie Tech, Pittsburg, PA. He was married to June Vorech Maley on June 18, 1949. He was employed by Electro Alloys – American Brake Shoe Division. He served in WWII, Battle of the Bulge with the 75th Infantry US Army. He was a member of Casas Adobes UCC, VFW and ELKS. George had a passion for the University of Arizona Women`s Athletics. He was preceded in death by by his parents George E. Maley and Della Whitman Maley; Sister Marcia Maley and wife June Vorech Maley. Survived by his children Stephanie L Buchs (James) and Lisbeth A Maley; Grandchildren Marcia K Buchs, Laura L Vele-Buchs, James Matthew Buchs, Stephen G Buchs. Memorial service will be held September 27, 2015, at 3:30pm at Casas Adobes Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Casas Adobes UCC or University of Arizona Woman’s Athletic Department.
