Gilbert B Coronado

Gilbert B. Coronado has gone to be with our heavenly Father. He was born in Tucson, Arizona on June 04, 1934 and passed peacefully on October 31, 2023 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wife, Barbara Coronado and parents, Ernestina and Francisco Coronado.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Annette Love (husband Tim Love), Denisa Coronado, Adele Coronado (husband Alan Boertjens). Granddaughter Dani D. Tapia, great grandson, Jeremiah Jordan Felix.

Gilbert was a proud Army veteran. He never met a person he didn’t like and always had a “dad” joke ready, since humor was his special language. He loved music, dancing and playing his guitar and singing at family gatherings. Western Wear is encouraged for the day as you rarely saw him without a hat and boots on.

A church service (catholic mass) will be held at St. Augustine Cathedral at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 16th. Preceded by a rosary at 9:30 a.m.

The Celebration of Life and Memorial will follow at the El Casino Ballroom beginning at approximately 12:30 p.m. A special procession will occur Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
