Hay Gilberto!  That's what I used to say to you when we worked together.  We always had great conversations and laughs.  You were a great co-worker and friend.  Last time we talked was about a year ago and as always had a great conversation and laughs.  To the Moya family I am deeply sorry for your loss and may God help you through this tough times and bless you always.  You'll be missed Gilberto.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our friend Gilbert. Smiley has known him since childhood, where he, Gilbert, Joey, Ricardo and Martin all grew up attending Utterback and Pueblo High School and running around the old Vista's  neighborhood as young kids. Although, sometimes “Life” takes us on different paths, they managed to keep a lifetime friendship unbroken. It never mattered how much time had passed since their last visit, whenever they met up they would greet each other with such happiness,it was as if time had never passed. Gilbert always asking for our parents and family and sharing his family's wellfare too.  Gilbert loved his family, there was never any doubt in that, he was a very sincere, kind and generous gentleman. We want to express our deepest condolences to his beloved mother, sisters, brother and family. Let us honor Gilbert by sharing our memories and keeping them in our daily thoughts, so that he can live forever in our hearts. We Love You Gilbert and will never forget you.

Wow! Hearing about this completely took me by surprise! I used to work with Gilberto and he was such an amazing man, so nice and kind hearted. And truly ALWAYS had a smile on his face. He will be missed!!

You will always be a very special person to me. I was blessed to have you come into my life. Although, it was a short time, I will forever treasure the moments we had together. No matter what situation I was in, you were there to listen. You never judged me. You always knew how to make me smile. We shared so many laughs together. I admired your wisdom and how you always looked at life so positive no matter what the situation was. You were my bestie at work, my partner in crime. I remember the candy I would take you to work, and every night how we walked out together and mostly how you had a name for your cell phone "la Inez". I will miss you Gilbert. Gilberto, even though I have only known you for a little over a year, I have never met a nicer guy. R.I.P Gilberto, we all will miss you.
