Gisele, nous n'aurons jamais eu la chance de nous rencontrer, mais je tenais à vous remercier pour toutes ces années de correspondances où nous nous considérions comme neveu et tante. Nous n'avions pas échangé pendant de nombreuses années, mais je ne vous ai jamais oublié. Pour moi, vous étiez et vous resterez immortelle. Vous me manquez, mais je sais qu'un jour nous nous rencontrerons. Vos présents demeurent toujours près de moi, et me rappellent à quel point nous nous sommes aimés. Vous me manquez...

Remebering you today, 3-8-16, on your birthday. I wish we could go back to the old times and celebrate with our favorites. Sing your heart out in heaven.

I still remember meeting her when I was 19, back at the U of A.  She was an amazing person, so full of life. She was like a sister, mother and best friend all rolled into one. She told me so many stories about her life, from her childhood during WWII, marrying Joe, have her two girls, then life in New York.  As a teenager she told me she dreamt of being a singer, she was able to pursue that dream.  She told me about that life, all the people she met, some very famous, and how she loved working on the Gary Moore Show.  She left it all to be near her precious daughters, which she loved so much, talked about all the time.  She also lived in Nevada, told me all about the various places she lived. She loved to sing and we had so much fun going out dancing, even in later years when I visited Tucson.  I wish I had been able to continue to live nearby.  We laughed and solved all the world problems together in person and on the phone.  She told me that I laughed like a European, I took it as a wonderful compliment.  I often told her she should have written a book, she lived enough for two lifetimes. She sure loved her pets. The last years were difficult.

Our Dearest Gisele, our heart aches but we know you are brighter than life itself, send us a little message now and than and keep shining down on us...

Gisele, You have always been a special person to me and I always looked forward to working with you. I was so pleased when Sylvia told me you smiled in the moment just before you transitioned. I wish I had seen that smile because you were such a tense person. I believe you are at peace now and that makes me smile too.

My dear Gisele, I meet you over 20 years ago, what started off as a friendship turned into a daughter mother love, I thank you for all the memories we shared you will always be in my heart. Now you are in a better place no pain no suffering you are an angel watching over me. Rest in peace. Love you always Sylvia.

My dearest Mother now at peace...long after we say our goodbyes, our heart will remember.  You have a place in my heart forever.  Thank you for being in my life and guiding me to be the person I am.
